Regular attendance is essential for academic success, character development, and holistic growth. Students who attend school consistently benefit from continuous learning, stronger relationships, better discipline, and improved academic performance.

Attendance Expectations

Regular attendance is essential for academic success, character development, and holistic growth.

Expected Guidelines:

  • Attend school regularly
  • Arrive on time
  • Participate actively in all classes and school activities
  • Attend examinations and assessments as scheduled

Minimum Attendance Requirement

Students should maintain a minimum attendance percentage as required by educational authorities and school regulations.

Recommended Attendance: 90% and Above. Students with high attendance generally perform better academically and demonstrate stronger learning habits.

Punctuality

Students are expected to arrive at school before the designated reporting time.

Expected Guidelines:

  • Arrive before assembly
  • Be prepared for classes
  • Report promptly after breaks

Please Note:

  • Repeated late arrival may result in: Counselling, Parent notification, or Administrative review

Leave Application Procedure

Whenever a student is unable to attend school, parents should inform the school through the appropriate channel.

Planned Leave: Submit a leave request in advance, mention the reason and duration, and await approval.
Medical Leave: Inform the school as soon as possible, submit supporting medical documentation when required, and ensure the student is fit to return.
Emergency Leave: In unavoidable situations such as family emergencies, contact the school immediately.

Examination Period Leave

Leave during examinations should be avoided except in exceptional circumstances.

Please Note:

  • Avoid family travel during examinations
  • Avoid unnecessary leave during revision periods

Hostel Leave Policy

For hostel students leaving campus:

Expected Guidelines:

  • Parent authorization
  • School approval
  • Proper entry in hostel records

Early Departure & Long Absence

Guidelines for leaving early or extended absences.

Early Departure: Students may leave school during school hours only when approved by the administration, collected by an authorized parent/guardian, and recorded through official procedures.
Long Absence: The school may conduct an academic review, provide guidance for catching up, or arrange support where appropriate.
