Student Code of Conduct at AILT Global Academy

At AILT Global Academy, discipline is regarded as an essential component of education. Our rules and expectations are designed not merely to maintain order, but to help students develop responsibility, integrity, self-control, and respect for others. All students are expected to uphold the values and standards of the school both on and off campus.

Our Expectations
Every AILT student should strive to demonstrate:
Attendance & Punctuality
Regular attendance is essential for academic success.
Students Must:
- Attend school regularly
- Arrive on time for all classes and activities
- Attend assemblies and scheduled programs
- Participate actively in learning activities
Students Must Not:
- Miss classes without valid permission
- Arrive late repeatedly
- Leave school premises without authorization
Parents are requested to avoid unnecessary absences, particularly during examination and revision periods.
Respect & Behaviour
Students are expected to maintain respectful conduct at all times. Respect must be shown towards Teachers and staff, Parents and guardians, Fellow students, Visitors, and School property.
Students Must:
- Use respectful language
- Demonstrate good manners
- Cooperate with teachers and staff
- Follow school instructions promptly
Students Must Not:
- Use abusive language
- Engage in bullying or harassment
- Intimidate or threaten others
- Participate in physical altercations
Academic Responsibility & Integrity
Students are expected to take ownership of their learning and maintain honesty in all academic work.
Students Must:
- Complete assignments on time
- Bring required materials to class
- Participate actively in lessons
- Prepare sincerely for assessments
Students Must Not:
- Cheating during examinations
- Copying assignments
- Plagiarism
- Providing unfair assistance during assessments
Campus Discipline
Students are expected to contribute to a safe and positive learning environment.
Students Must:
- Maintain cleanliness
- Use facilities responsibly
- Follow classroom expectations
- Respect school property
Students Must Not:
- Damage school property
- Litter school premises
- Misuse facilities or equipment
- Engage in disruptive behaviour
Technology & Digital Device Policy
To maintain focus and discipline, the use of electronic devices is regulated.
Students Must Not:
- Possess or use unauthorized mobile phones
- Access inappropriate content
- Use devices without permission
- Record or photograph others without authorization
The school reserves the right to take appropriate action if technology policies are violated.
Dress Code & Appearance
Students are expected to maintain a neat and professional appearance. The uniform reflects the identity and discipline of the school community.
Students Must:
- Wear the prescribed school uniform
- Maintain personal hygiene
- Follow grooming expectations
- Wear appropriate footwear
Students Must Not:
- Wear unauthorized clothing
- Modify the school uniform
- Display inappropriate accessories
Safety & Security
Student safety is a shared responsibility.
Students Must:
- Follow safety instructions
- Report concerns to staff
- Cooperate during emergencies
Students Must Not:
- Bring dangerous items to school
- Engage in unsafe behaviour
- Leave designated areas without permission
English Communication Expectation
As part of the AILT development framework, students are encouraged to communicate in English during academic activities and school interactions whenever appropriate. The objective is to develop confidence, communication skills, and future readiness.
