Grooming Standards at AILT Global Academy
The school uniform is an important part of the AILT identity. It promotes equality, discipline, unity, and a sense of belonging among students. All students are expected to wear the prescribed uniform neatly and maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance at all times.
Purpose of the School Uniform
The uniform helps to:
Academic Uniform
Students must wear the prescribed school uniform on all regular academic days. Uniforms must be clean, properly ironed, well maintained, and correctly fitted.
Sports Uniform
The sports uniform is to be worn only on designated sports days and approved school activities. Students must wear appropriate footwear during sports activities for safety and comfort.
Winter Uniform
During winter months, only approved winter wear may be used.
Students should not wear unauthorized jackets, hoodies, or winter clothing during school hours.
Hostel Dress Expectations
Hostel students are expected to maintain a neat appearance even outside academic hours.
Expected Standards:
- Wear modest and appropriate clothing
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Dress respectfully during prayers and assemblies
Personal Grooming Standards
Good grooming reflects self-respect, discipline, and professionalism.
Expected Standards:
- Hair: Clean and well groomed, simple and neat hairstyle, appropriate length
- Bathe regularly and maintain oral hygiene
- Keep nails clean and trimmed
- Wear clean clothes and maintain overall cleanliness
Not Permitted:
- No fashionable or extreme hairstyles
Footwear Requirements
Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times.
Expected Standards:
- Academic Days: Black School Shoes
- Sports Days: Sports Shoes
- Hostel Areas: Appropriate footwear as advised
School Identity Card
Identity cards help maintain campus security and student safety.
Expected Standards:
- Carry school identity card and present it when required
- Report loss of ID immediately
Uniform Expectations During Events
For official programs, students must follow the dress code communicated by the school.
